Laura P. Scholz is the newest CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ at Educo Advisor
Group, joining us in the spring of 2023. Laura loves all aspects of financial planning but
is most passionate about guiding clients through some of the most important financial
decisions of their lives.
Her primary focus is meeting with new and existing clients to help with retirement
planning, generational family wealth, and comprehensive financial planning. By utilizing
our tailored financial strategies and technology, Laura outlines manageable action
steps to reduce everyday financial stress and organize a gradual, balanced strategy to
pursue your individualized goals. Whether you are a high net worth individual or young
go getter, Laura is positioned to help breakdown the often-confusing world of finance.
Laura always aspired to be in the finance industry. She started working as a Bank Teller
while earning her Finance and Management Degree at La Roche University, graduating
Summa Cum Laude. After graduating, she kicked off her professional career in the
Private Banking industry, advising high net worth individuals on leveraging their assets
for personal and entrepreneurial interests.
Outside of work, Laura has many hobbies. She loves animals, volunteers at the
Washington Area Humane Society, and has two dogs of her own named Harvey and
Ella. She also enjoys “visiting” some of the most well-known cities and trails around the
world on her Interactive Treadmill. Lastly, Laura counteracts her running and dog
walking by experiencing new restaurants around the Pittsburgh and Washington areas
with her husband Donny.
